Majicom is a social enterprise that develops and deploys sun-powered water kiosks for use in Sub-Saharan Africa. These kiosks are able to automatically purify, store, and dispense clean affordable drinking water to users. The systems have been co-created with researchers and urban communities in Tanzania with the primary aim of reducing the cost of clean water by 50%. Majicom uses the crystal IS UV LED solution as a low-power purification tool that can be run from a small solar panel.
